The latest update of Home Health Compare data was released April 11, and data reflect a significant jump in the number of agencies that earned 5-star ratings in quality of care.
 
In April 2018, 460 agencies earned 5 stars.
 
That's nearly 100 more 5-star agencies than in January 2018. 
 
Home Health Compare data are released quarterly and outline scores in different quality measures for Medicare-certified home health agencies.
 
 
Breakdown of star ratings involving quality of care
 
There are 460 agencies nationwide that earned five stars in the ratings system involving quality of care, according to ratings released in April 11.
