Thousands of home health jobs lost in December

Last December, the number of home health jobs dropped by 3,700, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Jan. 10. This is a direct result of the latest round of 3.5% in annual cuts in Medicare reimbursements agencies are facing for four consecutive years, the Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare said in a recent press release.
