Public comments on OASIS-C2 are due Aug. 1. CMS announced in June a second comment period on the assessment tool changes set to take effect in January.
The first request for comments was on April 1. The OASIS has been changed to standardize measures in accordance with the IMPACT Act of 2014.
Agencies were able to get a first look at the OASIS-C2 guidance manual released in
late June. The new version of the data set updated, changed or added items to the assessment tool, or gave revised reporting instructions.
