The CAHPS Hospice Survey team announced May 26 that it has released updated versions of survey mail materials in
traditional and
simplified Chinese.
"Based on feedback from hospices serving Chinese speaking patients and caregivers, as well as cognitive interviews with native Chinese speakers, the CAHPS Hospice Survey Project Team has made minor revisions throughout both translations (including questionnaires and cover letters)," the
Hospice CAHPS website states. "Please note, the OMB Paperwork Reduction Act text and the Consent to Share Responses supplemental question text have not changed. These updated materials must be implemented for survey administration beginning with July 2017 decedents (caregiver contact beginning October 2017)."
