Senate won't vote on health care bill until after Independence Day

The U.S. Senate won't vote on its version of the health care bill until after its July 4 recess is complete.

The decision not to vote until then was announced June 27, according to the New York Times.

The delay in the vote comes a day after the Congressional Budget Office said the Senate's bill would leave 22 million more people uninsured by 2026.
