Note to small agencies: Don’t forget about Home Health CAHPS size exemptions

Home health agencies that are eligible to be exempted from the Home Health CAHPS survey must complete the exemption form by 11:59 p.m. EST April 2.

The deadline was extended this year because March 31 is a Saturday.

Medicare-certified agencies can qualify if they served fewer than 60 patients between April 1, 2016, and March 31, 2017, who met survey eligibility criteria.
