Home care startup Hometeam will shift from a direct to consumer model to one that works closely with insurers, according to
technology news site Recode.
The company’s president left after only five months in the role, and CEO and co-founder Josh Bruno is preparing to leave, according to
the report.
Hometeam was among several startups that aimed to disrupt the home care industry using a tech-savvy approach to matching caregivers with clients. Some of these home care startups have altered their business models or left home care entirely.
