Spending on home health to see growth over next 10 years, projections show

Spending on home health is expected to climb to $32 billion by 2028, according to projections from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

The current annual federal spending level for home health is $18 billion.

The Hospital Insurance Trust Fund which funds Medicare Part A is projected to become exhausted in 2026, according to CBO.
