The document includes questions the Hospice Quality Help Desk received and questions provided during a March 27 hospice quality reporting webinar.
 
Among the things included in the document:
  • Hospice Item Set (HIS) coding guidance, including on the Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) transition;
  • Data submission deadlines and requirements for HIS and the Hospice CAHPS survey;
  • Public reporting announcements and key dates;
  • Recent and upcoming educational trainings; and
  • Disaster exemptions for hospices affected by Hurricane Nate, the Northern California Wildfires and other disasters.
