CMS will host a two-day, in-person training in Baltimore to help home health providers prepare for OASIS-D, the Medicare agency has announced.
The event — designed with focus on training the trainer — will cover changes between OASIS-C2 and OASIS-D. Training topics include newly added sections covering health conditions and functional abilities and goals as well as drug regiment review and pressure ulcer quality measures.
OASIS-D is scheduled to take effect Jan. 1, 2019.
The training will take place Nov. 6 and 7, 2018, at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore. Registration will be limited to 250 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
