CMS still isn't able to launch its proposed review choice demonstration because the demo still needs to be approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) Palmetto GBA said during a Feb. 6 call about the demonstration.
 
Review choice is slated to occur in five states: Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas.
 
CMS originally had hoped to launch the demonstration in Illinois on Dec. 10, 2018.
