ALJ processing time continues to grow

The average processing time for appeals decided or dismissed in the first quarter of the 2019 fiscal year at the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) level is 1,302.9 days. Meanwhile, the percentage of appeals that result in fully favorable rulings continues to drop while the percentage of appeals that are dismissed continues to rise.
