An issue with Illinois pre-claim review submissions has been resolved, Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) Palmetto GBA announced.
Earilier this month, agencies trying to submit pre-claim review requests with a billing period start date before Feb. 1, 2020 weren't able to submit the requests. Agencies instead received an error message when they tried to do so.
The issue was resolved Feb. 6, and Illinois home health providers who selected the pre-claim reveiw option in the Review Choice Demonstration will now be able to submit pre-claim review requests for all billing period start dates from June 1, 2019 and beyond, Palmetto says.
