A new Kaiser Family Foundation study reports 1 in 4 Medicare beneficiaries had a telehealth visit between the summer and fall of 2020. While new technology has been growing, KFF reports more than half of the beneficiaries said they just used a telephone for the visits.
Nearly two-thirds of Medicare beneficiaries reported their usual provider currently offers telehealth appointments, up from 18% before the pandemic.
