A Pennsylvania home health agency will pay $66,000 in back wages and an equal amount in liquidated damages to 98 registered nurses and licensed practical nurses after an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor noted a failure to pay overtime wages, including payment for ancillary work and work-related travel, according to a DOL news release.

A federal court entered a consent judgment resolving the DOL lawsuit against Revolutionary Home Health Inc. of Olyphant, Pa., according to the June 2 release.

The agency will also pay $8,000 in civil penalties the department assessed “given the repeat nature of the violations and the employer’s reckless disregard of the Fair Labor Standards Act,” according to the release.
