The Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) is providing a brief window for providers to make a late filing request for their spending under the first Provider Relief Fund (PRF).

The Request to Report Late Due to Extenuating Circumstances for Period 1 will run from Monday, April 11, 2022, to Friday, April 22, 2022.

The process is intended for providers who were required to report in an applicable reporting period, but extenuating circumstances prevented them from submitting a report by the required deadline, according to the HRSA.

Extenuating circumstances could include:
  • Severe illness or death
  • Impacted by natural disaster
  • Lack of receipt of reporting communications
  • Failure to click “Submit”
  • Internal miscommunication or error
  • Incomplete Targeted Distribution payments
