Home health care services added more than 6,000 jobs in October, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The industry has added nearly 68,000 jobs in the past year, with nearly a quarter of those jobs in the last two months alone.
Overall, health care added 52,600 jobs in October, according to the BLS. Nursing and residential care facilities led the sector in overall new jobs, followed by hospitals and physician offices — but all three grew at a lower rate month-over-month when compared to home health care services.
