Home health care services continued to add jobs in April, though at a slower pace than recent months, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The sector added 2,300 jobs in April. That’s down from 11,900 additional jobs added in March (adjusted down from what was previously reported).
Overall, health care employment increased by 40,000 in April, compared with the average monthly gain of 47,000 over the prior six months, according to the BLS.
