CMS has released an updated Home Health Value-Based Purchasing FAQs, with several new and updated responses.
 
The questions included: Can the Total Performance Score potentially change if a previously submitted OASIS assessment is corrected and resubmitted in iQIES?
 
The answer appears to be “no.” CMS notes that a corrected OASIS received before the construction of the quality episode, and subsequently the Total Performance Score, then CMS would ignore the erroneous OASIS file. But the corrected data would need to be received before the HHVBP process begins.
