A new report on HHCAHPS survey responses shows agencies nationally are improving on several measures.
 
The latest results are from July 2022 to June 2023.
 
Patients who gave their home health agency a rating of 9 or 10 climbed from 84% in the previous 12 months to 85% in the latest report.
 
Similar increases were found for patients who reported that their home health team communicated well with them (85% to 86%) and patients who reported that their home health team discussed medicines, pain and home safety with them (81% to 82%).
 
Results for patients who would recommend the home health agency to friends and family and patients who reported that the agency gave care in a professional way were unchanged, at 78% and 88% respectively.
