As CMS works through the reconsideration process for 2025 payment adjustments under Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP), officials are reminding providers that agency-level data will be publicly available beginning in mid-January.

The 2023 data used for HHVBP scoring will be published in the Provider Data Catalog and is expected to be updated annually, CMS notes in the most recent quarterly HHVBP newsletter.

According to CMS, the metrics that will be made available include applicable measure benchmarks and achievement thresholds for each small- and large-volume cohort.

For each agency that qualified for a payment adjustment based on the data for the applicable performance year:
  • The agency’s applicable measure results and improvement thresholds.
  • The agency’s Total Performance Score (TPS).
  • The agency’s TPS Percentile Ranking.
  • The agency’s payment adjustment for a given year.
