New confidential reports on social needs, health equity available

CMS has released new confidential feedback reports on social needs and health equity.

The first Screen Positive for Health-Related Social Needs Indicator Confidential Feedback Report for your patient population on health literacy, need for interpreter services, social isolation and transportation.

Available in iQIES, the information includes data from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024, and will be updated quarterly based on the most recent 12 months of data.

CMS has released a webinar recording to help agencies understand this report. (link below)

The updated Health Equity Confidential Feedback Reports on discharge to community and Medicare spending per beneficiary are also available through iQIES. Home health data looks at calendar year 2022 and 2023, according to CMS.
