CMS increases in-home vaccination payments

CMS has increased the payment rates for in-home vaccinations for COVID-19, flu, hepatitis B and pneumococcal.

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the additional amount for in-home vaccinations increased from $38 to $40.

For COVID-19 vaccines that means a total payment of approximately $85 for a COVID-19 vaccine dose you administer in a patient's home.

For flu, hepatitis B and pneumococcal shots in 2025, the additional payment for in-home shots bring the total payment to approximately $74.

Payments are geographically adjusted based on where you administer the vaccine.
