CMS updates preview reports after HHQRP correction

Agencies will want to double-check preview reports for the July 2025 Care Compare refresh after officials announced they had corrected some data.

CMS recently discovered an error in the Discharge Function quality measure scores that were included in the preview reports released April 2, 2025. The inaccurate scoring affected approximately 16% of agencies and was caused by a technical error, which has now been resolved, CMS noted.

The updated preview reports are now available, with the preview period extended to May 21, 2025.

The preview reports include OASIS-based quality measure results from October 2023 through September 2024. Claims-based results are unchanged during the July refresh and will only be updated with the October public reporting.
