U.S. News & World Report will release its first Best Home Health rating on Feb. 24, 2026.
The organization’s system averages an agency’s star ratings and patient satisfaction scores to create a composite score, according to details released during a webinar Feb. 10, 2026. Providers are then assigned a ranking such as “high performing” or “expected.”
Agencies included in the ratings list can be filtered by:
- HHCAHPS patient satisfaction scores
Agencies that do not have a CMS certification number will be listed in the report but will not receive a rating.
Other U.S. News lists include Best Nursing Homes and Best Hospitals for Rehabilitation.
