BLS: Home health care services report modest job growth in February

In a tough month for health care organizations, home health care services added 700 jobs. The health care sector overall reported a loss of 28,000 jobs, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

By comparison, there were 4,100 new home health jobs recorded in February 2025 and 12,900 reported in February 2024.

Home health care services now account for nearly 1.85 million jobs, compared to 1.83 million jobs reported in February 2025, according to the BLS.
