A Missouri home health provider has plead guilty of defrauding Medicaid of at least $174,496 for claims submitted in 2021 and 2022, according to an U.S. Attorney's Office press release published on March 24, 2026.
Camille Childress, owner of Inspiring Angels LLC, submitted fraudulent documents to enroll her home health agency in Missouri Medicaid. Childress, who was convicted of a crime in 2012, aimed to conceal her ownership of the company, according to the release.
After enrolling in Medicaid, Childress submitted Medicaid claims for services that were not provided to patients. She also submitted claims without the necessary documentation.
Childress’s sentencing is scheduled for June, after which she will be required to reimburse Medicaid and will be subject to prison, a fine or both.
