CMS has updated and created new resources around the technical specifications and measure tables for the Home Health Quality Reporting Program (HHQRP).
The new documents and files were released June 24, 2026, as the industry awaits the release of the 2027 Home Health Prospective Payment System Proposed Rule. CMS typically releases the rule in late June or early July.
The updated files include the technical report on the Discharge Function Score, including imputation and risk adjustment files, as well as tables for the HHQRP outcomes, process and potentially avoidable events measures.
There's also a file for the Medicare Spending Per Beneficiary measure with updated service exclusions.
