There were some mixed results for health care employers in July, but home health care services was among the areas that continued to hire this summer.
 
Home health care services added 4,600 last month, according to the latest estimates from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Meanwhile, hospitals saw an estimated decline of 400 jobs nationally in the same period.  
 
Home health care services now has a workforce of nearly 1.87 million, compared to estimates just under 1.8 million at the same point last year.
