Preview reports available for January’s Care Compare refresh

Get a first look at the fresh data coming to Care Compare in January 2027. CMS has opened provider preview reports in iQIES.

The Preview Reports for the January 2027 refresh include:

OASIS-based measures from April 2025 through March 2026
HHCAHPS-based measures from July 2025 through June 2026

Claims-based measures are typically updated only once a year with the October refresh. But, due to a delay in data availability, Medicare Spending Per Beneficiary will be updated with the January refresh, with calendar year 2025 data.

Providers have until October 30, 2026, to review their performance data.
