Vendors encouraged to submit HHCAHPS results early

The HHCAHPS survey data submission tool portal is now available for vendors.  

 

The deadline for Q2 submissions is Oct. 15, 2026, but CMS contractor RTI is encouraging early submissions since this is the first time vendors will be uploading results from the revised survey that took effect April 1.

 

“We strongly recommend that vendors begin their data submission process earlier than normal to confirm there are no problems and that they can submit all data by the deadline. More information will be emailed to vendors later this summer,” RTI noted in a recent message to agencies and vendors.

 

The shorter, easier-to-understand survey is expected to boost response rates and provide results tailored specifically to the patient’s experience with the home health agency.
