L591 (Nursing services) was the fourth most common citation for hospices during surveys in 2016, CMS data show. It was not among the most common citations in 2015. In 2016, the 10 most common deficiencies for hospices yielded 1,009 citations. Those 10 deficiencies drew 69% more citations than they did in 2015.
