The Department of Justice today announced another major fraud bust, with a total of 107 individiuals charged in six cities around the country.

Home health agencies were named as participants in multiple fraud schemes in Miami, Detroit and Houston.

Altogether, the fraud schemes resulted in $452 million of allegedly fraudulent claims, Justice says in a May 2 announcement. Charges include conspiracy to commit health care fraud, health care fraud, violations of the anti-kickback statute and money laundering.

In addition to the indictments, HHS also suspended 52 providers due to "credible allegations of fraud." The list of suspended providers was not immediately available.
