Time Warner Cable Business Class — a division of Time Warner Cable — announced this week that it will start a “Virtual Visit” telemedicine trial with Cleveland Clinic. The home health monitoring strategy will enable health care providers to engage and interact with patients in their homes, according to Time Warner.

The technology will let Cleveland Clinic professionals deliver services remotely to a patient’s home, interacting through a television equipped with video conferencing technology, a Time Warner release states. The patient will be able to speak from home with the provider using encrypted, two-way video from Time Warner.
