Home health agencies nationwide saw a percentage-point improvement in bed transfer, pressure ulcer prevention and improvement in management of oral medications in CMS’ latest release Oct. 9 of Home Health Compare data.
 
The three measures increased to 58%, 98% and 52% respectively, according to the updated OASIS-based measures collected from July 2013 to June 2014.
 
All other quality measures remained unchanged in the update.
 
The Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) scores were also refreshed Oct. 9 and remain unchanged. Data for the refresh was collected between April 2013 and March 2014.
