Home health agencies nationwide saw a percentage-point improvement in pneumococcal vaccine ever received, diabetic foot care and education and improvement in management or oral medications for CMS’ latest release April 16 of Home Health Compare data.
 
The three measures increased to 73%, 95% and 53% respectively, according to the updated OASIS-based measures collected from Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 31, 2014.
 
Agencies also improved a percentage point on the improvement in bed transfer measure to 59%.
 
All other quality measures remained unchanged in the update.
 
The Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) scores were also refreshed April 16 and remain unchanged. Data for the refresh was collected between October 2013 and September 2014.
