The U.S. health care system is doing a better job with slowing spending growth and accessibility to care, but still trails behind similar countries, according to a report by the Peterson-Kaiser Health System Tracker.
 
The report looks at key areas such as life expectancy, rate of hospital-acquired conditions, delaying or foregoing needed care because of cost and health spending per person.
