CMS will host a two-day, in-person training in Baltimore to help home health providers better understand changes between OASIS-C2 and OASIS-D among other topics, the Medicare agency has announced.

The Home Health Quality Reporting Program “train the trainer” event will focus on newly added sections covering health conditions and functional abilities and goals as well as pressure ulcer/injury and drug regimen review quality measures.

In addition to OASIS-D, training also will include an interactive session on how to use Certification And Survey Provider Enhanced Reports (CASPER) to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop quality improvement plans.

The training will take place March 5 and 6, 2019, at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore. Registration will be limited to 250 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Providers also have the option to participate via webcast.
