Southeast post-acute provider PruittHealth recently released its 2021 COVID-19 report, offering a look at its efforts during the pandemic, including the perks it has offered to employees to promote vaccination.
 
Incentives included:
  • The Protect Bonus, which granted all full-time employee partners $100 when their health care center achieved a 90% vaccination rate.
  • The Hero Bag, a goodie bang inclusive of a Waffle House gift card and a PruittPride bracelet, which each partner received at the time of vaccination.
  • Cash Raffles, a six-week cash raffle series in which one vaccinated partner was chosen per week; each winner received an additional $400 per pay period for six months, totaling $5,200.
  • Vaccinated Caregiver Bonus, which granted a one-time bonus ranging from $250 to $1,500 for LPNs, RNs and CNAs who received their COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Stronger Together Grand Prize, a drawing for vaccinated partners that awarded 106 winners prizes ranging from $1,000 to $25,000.
Since March 2020, the agency has spent $23.4 million to incentives COVID-19 vaccination and retain its staff, according to the report.
