Home health care services lost 2,300 jobs in September, according to the seasonally adjusted estimates from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
 
In recent months, home health care services has been one of the locations in health care that was leading employment growth. This month, other service areas saw growth, with health care overall adding 17,000 jobs.
 
Year-over-year, home health care services has added more than 80,000 jobs with a total of 1.89 million.
