The Supreme Court’s decision June 25 to allow individuals buying insurance through an exchange, regardless of the state they live in, and remain eligible, with income restrictions, for tax credits will ensure home and personal care aides nationwide will continue to have access to health coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

A federal judge in Nashville has approved a $3 million settlement in a lawsuit against Guardian Home Care & Hospice, a division of Dallas-based AccentCare. The lawsuit was brought by nurses who worked at the agency and claimed they were not paid for overtime.
