The number of agencies earning 4.5 and five stars in the quality of care star ratings dipped slightly in the most recent quarterly refresh of Home Health Compare.

CMS data show 638 agencies nationwide earned five stars in the ratings system involving quality of care, according to the ratings released Jan. 23, 2020. That’s a decrease of two agencies from October 2019. There were more agencies with one, three and four stars in the January refresh than there were in the prior quarter.
