CMS has been vigorous in helping providers, support vendors and clearinghouses to prepare for the Oct. 1, 2015, transition to the 10th revision of the international classification of diseases (ICD-10), the General Accountability Office (GAO) finds. But some affected entities remain apprehensive about their readiness, GAO says in a recent report to the Senate Finance Committee on ICD-10 readiness.
