Estimates on the total number of jobs in home health care services fell by 3,500 in June, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The total number of jobs, seasonally adjusted, is now at slightly more than 1.75 million. The shift downward comes after a remarkably steep increase of 19,600 jobs in home health care services reported in May.

Assisted living facilities and medical laboratories also reported a decrease in the total number of jobs in June.
