Just 100 jobs were added in home health care services in April, according to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

That is far fewer than the 12,500 jobs added in home health care services in the month of April 2024. It's the weakest jobs report for home health care services since December 2021, according to BLS archived data.
 
April was a stronger month for other health care settings. Hospitals added 22,100 jobs and physician offices added 8,000 jobs.
 
In total, home health care services currently has a seasonally adjusted 1,845,800 jobs.
