A Texas woman faces up to five years in prison and an up to $250,000 fine for impersonating a nurse, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.

The woman pleaded guilty to making fals statements related to health care matters. She reportedly impersonated a nurse and performed work at home health companies and multiple hospitals, according to the Department of Justice release.

She was hired after fraudulently presenting a nursing license of another individual. She had also obtained employment as a nurse trainer in the federally funded Job Corps program and was assigned to train future nurses.
