Employers in home health care services added an estimated 11,700 jobs in March, according to the latest figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
 
That’s down from an estimated 13,600 jobs added in February (adjusted up from what was reported last month). Home health care services has added 126,000 jobs in the past year, the BLS estimates.
 
Overall, health care added 72,000 jobs in March, above the average monthly gain of 60,000 over the prior 12 months.
 
Home health care services now account for nearly 1.725 million jobs.
