This document contains CMS’ draft OASIS-C1/ICD-9 version item set, which becomes effective Jan. 1, 2015. It is similar to OASIS-C1, except that it reverts to OASIS-C items that can accommodate ICD-9 codes. This interim version is expected to be in use until Oct. 1, 2015, when ICD-10 is supposed to go into effect along with the OASIS-C1 version that allows for ICD-10 codes.

Hospices would receive a 1.3% increase in Medicare payments in fiscal year 2015 under CMS’ proposed wage index, according to the proposed rule.
